HOW IT ALL BEGAN Acting in full consciousness,
that the right to practice sports belongs to the fundamental human rights and its realization is a necessary condition to
the physical and mental health, to improve the psychophysical ability and intelligence, to create the positive features of
human character, to ensure the creativity and the biological and intellectual dynamism of the generations to come. Recognizing
that the realization of the right to practice sports means the right to realize our human dignity and the possibility to solve
the basic problems of Humanity such as peaceful co existence, food supply, environmental protection, energy supply, education,
housing and the right to work for proper salary, in conviction, that Ring– created in 1959 by wlodzimierz Strzyzewski
in Warsaw, being the sport of equal chances, accessible by anyone in any condition – and developing practically all
qualities needed by man in contemporary civilization, thus serving to the growth of productivity power of the society, which
is the most important element in man, - may be adopted by all countries of the World to ensure their citizens the rights determined
by General Assemble of United Nations Organization the October 10, 1948 (Universal Declaration of the Human Rights) and in
particular the “right to the development of personality thanks to the social work and international cooperation based
on organization and the resources of each country” and “everybody has the right to the rest and free time”
– we, ringo-sportsmen of Czech Republic, Kenya, Lithuania, Poland and Slovak Republic, assembled the 11th of June, 1993
in historical Fortress Modlin by Warsaw during the 22nd International Ringo Championships of Poland, in our desire to open
this possibility offered by Ringo to the children, youth and adults of the Earth and to introduce the Olympic Idea “Citius-Altius-Fortius”
to each family on the globe through the development of Ringo, called on the 22nd Olympic Games “sport of the friendship
and Peace”-we today have resolved as follows, Found the International Ringo Federation with a drafted constitution.
Elected Wlodzimierz Strzyzewski for the post of president. To lay the President of IRF under obligation to assure for IRF
the personality of law and the membership to, non- governmental organizations of United Nations, the council of Europe, the
international Olympic Committee etc, to appoint the Secretary General of IRF and to assure for IRF the seat and necessary
conditions for the activity of IRF Office, to realize the goals of IRF according to the Statue and this Act of Foundation.
To act in brotherly and loyal cooperation to disseminate Ringo in civil and military educational systems of UNO- Member States,
in women sport, military-and police sport for all and for rehabilitation purposes, among other things through the organization
of World Family Ringo Tournaments, the Friendship Tournaments of Military and Police Sportsmen, World Scholar Athlete Games,
Friendship Games, World Games on Non-Olympic Sports, in the sport of Scouting, continental Games and Para Olympics, with the
aim to include Ringo into the program of Olympic Games. To ask the People of Good Will in the branches of United Nations Organization,
to the Authorities of World Churches, to the European Parliament and to the Governments of States of the world, to the International
Olympic Committee, to the Foundations which are acting for the promotion of health and care, the development of physical education
and protection for social deviations, for international youth exchange, promotion of the friendship among nations and the
education for the life in Peace, to mass media and individual sponsors-for moral and material support of the activities of
national Ringo governing bodies and the International Ringo Federation. Signed after unanimously voting by the Participants

WHAT IS RINGO? Ringo is an individual and team
sport played with a round rubber ring called a Ringo ring. This ring has a decompression vent riffled on top and bottom surfaces
with a diameter of 17 cm and weighs 160-165 grammes. It’s stable in flight and does not course injuries to the
fingers
of both the children and adults.
Ringo is the most democratic sport in the world today where a poor shepherd from Pyrenees
has equal chances as the king of Sweden.
All the equipments it needs may be if necessary, put together from whatever
is at hand under any conditions in Alaska snow, the sand of Sahara, the Lido beach, a mountain pasture in Himalayas, a clearing
in a forest, you can easily set up a field and find at least one
person willing to join in.
Ringo is not only a
sport; it’s a whole new way of thinking, a sense of responsibility for ones own and for others. Ringo’s special
quality has prompted its originator and other people of good will to popularize this sport so that it becomes a world and
an Olympic
sport. Giving every man a fine chance of self-improvement and the right to sport. Such right is the foundation
of full development of the human personality. It is the right to the realization of the dignity of human person.
Ringo
has everything for everybody. Its rules ensure maximum effectiveness, accessibility and safety. A child and a retired person,
a violin virtuoso and a prizefighter, a shorthand writer, a surgeon and a pilot can play it with no fear that they will injure
their
fingers! Ringo means total movement, all the sports of the world brought to a common denominator, a universal
sport for all developing all qualities needed by man in contemporary civilization Ringo is doing it all in a very attractive
way.
Because Ringo a very simple game is a very challenging fighting sport, combining maximal efforts of the soul and
body with all natural human movements: running, turnovers, jumping, catching, throwing and bending.
To become a Ringo
champion you need forecast ability of a
chase player, tactic and reflection of a fencer, will power of a boxer, speed
of a sprinter, Intellectual link of partners, space imagination as a pilot and endurance of a marathon runner. Permanent start
and break after catch create active system of interval training. Rule
about throwing with catching ensures symmetry
of the brain activity and team Ringo competition with two rings simultaneously faster than any other sport improves reflex
and space imagination.
Ringo is one of the few games symmetry of the brain in
operation an improvement in the functioning
of both hemispheres of the brain, being in fact the cheapest and simplest way of tapping human intelligence resources. To
quote professor Wlodzimierz Starosta researcher at the institute of sport in Warsaw,“ Sport in the Elixir of the youth
and Ringo is a universal sport, easily available to everyone, Ringo ensures full symmetry of movement and so accelerates the
functional development of the brain.”
The Name from Acapulco I was in the 1968 Olympic games in Mexico with two
aims, says the founder of Ringo Wlodzimierz Stryzewski. First I wanted to participate in the Olympic press games in which
I won the nineteenth Olympic medal for Poland for my
Radio news report from the fencing finals and second to
promote
my sport.
I asked the victorious Mexican player whom they considered the best. As it would be expected they volunteered
their captain, I challenged him to a match Mexico and Poland in Ringo. He learnt the rules almost immediately and almost immediately
understood how much the game would be an advantage to his team. Tired but
very happy he wanted to buy rings for all
his friends so he said, where could I buy this ring mister………….? He asked- I said Stryzewski he
attempted thrice to repeat my surname, never giving up like a true sportsman he said, adding the Spanish ending to the English
noun baptizing my sport. Where can I buy this ring mister
